We were approached by Derbyshire County Council to replace the old wire mesh fencing along the platform and to install a single pedestrian gate at Dove Holes Station in the Peak District. Mark, our fencing supervisor, met with the client to ensure that the fencing would be fit for purpose but also create a fence that was aesthetically pleasing being based at such an iconic station in the area.

We started the work in early 2024 and installed the angled hit and miss fencing and gate.

It has improved the look of the station platform area dramatically whilst also providing a safe barrier for the station users.

This is the fourth project that we have completed for the High Peak & Hope Valley Community Rail Partnership  - the others being Hope, Edale & Grindleford
